"The Past is behind, learn from it... The Future is ahead, prepare for it... The Present is here, LIVE IT!!!" --- Pres. Thomas S. Monson

Word from Coach Jed:

This is when great teams are at their best!! We have our big rival coming up this week, and they have done nothing all year but talk trash on our Wolf Pack! Boys, I want you to know how very proud I am of you! Even this week, you guys played hard. We honestly had just a couple bad breaks this week. This week it will be different cause we are going to have the breaks go our way! I know this cause I know that we are going to create these breaks! We have worked our tails off all year boys, and it shows. We are in a position where we can show our rivals how tough we are and what kind of perseverence we have! I have no doubt in my mind that you boys are going to show our rivals the kind of fortitude, heart and desire that you have shown me each and every practice! Boys, lets use this past week as motivation to go out and beat the team we want to beat worse than any other team, the MINERETTES! Once again boys, I am proud of you, now lets go show who we are and what we are made of!! --- Jed Thomas

Victory over Park City - Riverton wins 20 - 0

In the end, the game comes down to one thing: man against man. May the best man win.
-- Sam Huff

Words from Coach:
"There always seems to be a point in time when a group of kids turn from a few individuals to a team!! This happened to our wolf-pack on Saturday!! Nothing is more gratifying as a coach than this!! Our boys went from a group of kids on the verge of imploding to turning into a team overnight! This transition has been definite and unmistakable. I am very proud to be part of this group of kids, and they should all be proud of what they have accomplished over the last two weeks! I said before the Grantsville game, winning streaks need to start at one, our winning streak needs to continue to #3! With a hard week of practice, and alot of fun on the way, we should get our #3! Keep our eye on the prize boys, and lets have some fun!" -- Jed Thomas

Riverton vs. East

Difficulties in life are intended to make us better, not bitter. --- Dan Reeves

Word from Coach:

"There is always one thing more important in football than winning and losing! That is the relationships built between players, coaching staff, and parents! During the past ten weeks we have grown from being strangers who were brought together by the love of a game. Now, something bigger has happened, we have become a TEAM! In life, there is nothing greater than knowing that you have someone to lean on when times get tough! Right now, times are tough. However, there are no adversities that this group of kids cannot overcome!! WE ARE A TEAM! Nothing is greater than that!! Lets stand together and rise above! All winning streaks start at #1, and this week is our #1!" -- Jed Thomas

Wolf Pack 2 - 0 and going STRONG!

It was an intense game Saturday as our line faced one of the toughest lines we may face all year. Once again our line came out on top!

With only one touchdown and no extra point at half time, it was still anyone's game. Towards the end of the third quarter, our Wolf Pack scored their 2nd TD with the extra point. Right into the 4th quarter, Kearns scored their 1st TD of the game as well as the extra point. With only 1 more TD and extra point needed, the game was far from over for Kearns.

We put our onside kick return team on the field late in the game and recovered the kick return, only to have the Ref's take it away. With good field position for Kearns to score and win the game, our Defense stepped up and sealed the win with an interception! Congrats on a 13 - 7 win!

*Touch Down Highlights*

1st TD - TD Pass Turner Thomas to Nick Scott
Extra Point - No Extra Point

2nd TD - Anthony Perschon

The "PLAYER OF THE GAME" award goes to Jaden Mayne for his interception, Cade Butterfield for offensive and defensive play, and Turner Thomas for great passes and Quarterback play. Congrats on a 13 - 7 win!

Let's do it again against Alta and practice hard this week, it pays off!
